MODERN METALWORKS

This project was submitted via a sketch on a napkin. We converted their idea into a CAD drawing and laser cut each piece from 1/8th aluminum plate.

Using bronze spacers and socket cap hardware, assembling the large gears was done via precisely cut holes to achieve perfect offset alignment. Placing the small gears was a freestyle assembly process necessary to give the multidimensional look the client was after. All gears are fixed and do not rotate.

Using this same construction technique, we can fabricate your company logo, sign or furnishings using this or any other raw material.
