banana peels out was built from the hood of a 1970’Äòs FORD pickup truck. Due to its size and weight, a steel tube frame was build to support and give shape to this large recycled canvas. The blue / rust patina was an obvious choice for this impasto oil painting. The sheetmetal was buffed and clear coated with 4 coats of automotive clear coat prior to oil painting. A steel wire cable has already been install and it is ready to hang. Felt discs are applied to the four corners of the frame so this work of art does not come in contact with your drywall. Professional installation suggested. Approximately 70 pounds. Its the real deal.
