3 wheel impala was built from the hood of a 1980’Äòs FORD F150 pickup truck. Due to the factory crease that runs down the middle of the canvas, a steel tube frame was build to give shape to this canvas, allowing it to sit flat against your wall. The blue / rust / primer was a unique backdrop to this impasto oil painting. The sheetmetal was buffed and clear coated with 4 coats of automotive clear coat prior to oil painting. A steel wire cable has already been install and it is ready to hang. Felt discs are applied to the four corners of the frame so this work of art does not come in contact with your drywall. Approximately 50 pounds.
